The purpose of MOBHL is to create a greater level of competition for bantam house/select level hockey players in Mid Ohio by promoting a two-tiered program of teams grouped by their community to prepare them for high school varsity or club level play.
The 2008-2009 season will open with a seeding tournament that will be held the first two weeks of October to determine which Tier a team will participate in. League play will commence in late October and consist of a 18 game schedule and a end of the season tournament.
When playing games at the Columbus Fairgrounds, a parking pass is required to gain free admission. Please click here to download the Parking Pass and make sure it is distributed to your team.
Bantam registration does not occur through MOBHL. MOBHL currently consists of players from CAHA, CCYHA, EYHA, Troy, Newark, and Athens. If you live in the Columbus metropolitian area you will register with one of the three Columbus Youth Hockey Organizations (EYHA, CAHA or CCYHA) depending on where the player will attend high school. The attached spreadsheet provides a list of high schools and the corresponding hockey organization that a player needs to register with. Please check corresponding youth hockey website to see when their formal registration begins.
